We understand that in order for caregivers to enjoy respite time they often have trouble finding care for their loved ones while they are away. Riley’s Rest hopes to collaborate with local agencies in the future to help with this issue. In the meantime, the following are established respite opportunities that may be available to your loved one. Please speak with your care coordinator and support broker (if a Self- Direction participant) to see if these programs would be appropriate for your loved one.

You can also speak with your Care Coordinator as well as your broker (if Self- Directed) about the following:

Family Reimbursed Respite- can be utilized to reimburse the caregiver for out of pocket babysitting expenses.

Self- Hired Respite Staff - staff onboarded with an FI Agency may also be utilized by Self- Direction participants.
